NCR Cashpoints to Allow Withdrawals Via Mobile Phone

NCR has devised a way for people to use smartphones to set up withdrawals from automated teller machines by using an iPhone or Android app. Customers who download NCR software to their mobile device can take a picture of a 2D barcode on their bank’s ATM. The barcode contains the location of the ATM and transmits that information to the bank. The bank completes the transaction and spits out the cash at that ATM.
